Maa Durga is considered the goddess of power, and Durga Puja is celebrated all over the country with much pomp and fervour. Devotees pray to the goddess during these ten days as it is believed she comes to Earth to bless her people. She comes in many ways to protect their children and give her blessings to us... She is always with us and never leave our hand as our mother's do.
There is a slew of other qualities that Durga embodies, that are inherently present in the girl child, that we as care-givers should be aware of, and conscious about nurturing.
Durga maa with her eight hands epitomizes the word multitasking. All ladies around us is a descent Or swaroop/avtar of Maa durga.. She as a doctor saves our life, as a farmer gives us food, as a fighter protect us from enemies, as care taker loves all present in nature... She is one in all.
